Memasuki usianya ke 101 tahun, pada 18 November 2013, Muhammadiyah telah meluncurkan televisi satelit dengan sebutan udara TVMu. TVMu dilahirkan oleh Pimpinan Pusat Muhammadiyah periode 2010‐2015, sebagai amanat Muktamar Muhammadiyah tahun 1995 di Banda Aceh. Dengan dilandasi semangat syiar dan dakwah untuk menegakkan amar ma’ruf nahi munkar, TVMu menjadi persembahan Muhammadiyah bagi bangsa dan dunia melalui layar televisi sebagai medium komunikasi yang CERDAS MENCERAHKAN.
